BPD News and Upcoming Events 2008 Ready2 Ride Youth Safety Expo
Are YOU Ready to Ride? The Banning Police Department is hosting its second annual “Ready2 Ride” Youth Safety Expo on Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Ready 2 Ride is absolutely free to the public and to make more room for more events, the location for Ready 2 Ride has been moved to Replier Park (Community Center parking lot).
The Ready 2 Ride Youth Safety Expo is just part of Banning Police Department’s year-round commitment to providing the best safety education to its youth and families. Bring the entire family to the expo and kick off your summer by participating in the expo. Ready 2 Ride has something for “every-one and every-age!”
Ø 25 interactive sport and activity booths to learn about personal safety! Ø Splash and swim at the Replier Park Aquatic Center! Ø Bring your own bike, scooter, or skateboard to the expo test your skills at the newly designed R2R Safety Obstacle Course! Ø Free kid’s safety kit and Rider’s License to all kids who participate! Ø Meet and greet police officers, firefighters and emergency response personnel! Ø Free Hourly Raffle for awesome stuff! (Skateboards, bikes, and other prizes) Ø Chance to win (2) family season passes to Replier Park Aquatic Center! Ø 50/50 drawing for cold hard cash!
